Mounting on a Sony a6000 - Pogo007 - 2019-11-14

Anyone trying to mount the LRT Pro Timer to the hot shoe on their Sony a6000 (and maybe other models) know that the EVF eyecup is in the way. You can remove the eyecup to mount the timer but you won't be able to reinstall the eyecup. I've found a number of solutions that allows use of the EVF eyecup at the same time as the timer but the one I've gone with involves attaching the following NICEYRIG Cold Shoe adapter

I also had to use a fine file to round the leading edge of the Pro shoe mount and to slightly increase the gap of the mount in order to be able to slide it into the shoe (the one that extends beyond the camera body) on this adapter plate.
