Intervalometer for HDR timelapse, or tether-software - micnek - 2020-05-13 Hi guys! I wonder which intervalometer should I use for HDR-timelapse shooting? I also appreciate your recommendations on tether-software for the same purpose? I tried Nikon (ControlMyNikon), and there is an option "chain HDR" there, however it is not as flexible as I'd like it to be. Thanks for your recommendations! /Michael RE: Intervalometer for HDR timelapse, or tether-software - Gunther - 2020-05-13 I'd recommend to reconsider, if "HDR" timelapse is really the way to go. It has a lot of disadvantages and only little advantage. Personally I never shoot any timelapse in HDR - just as something to think about. Of course, I could now tell you now, that the LRT Pro Timer would allow this and be probably the best option - but please, use the search feature here for "HDR" and you'll find the arguments then think about it once again. RE: Intervalometer for HDR timelapse, or tether-software - micnek - 2020-05-16 Thanks a lot, Gunter! I don't really like to take HDR timelapse normally, but there are situations where it would actually be great. I often take night-time timelapse in Stockholm where I live. It 'd be nice to have both city lights and starry sky in the frame. The only way, as I see it, is HDR (at least HDR stills work nicely).
