Malewarebytes Issue - TonyC - 2020-08-03

Malewarebytes Pro just crashed my LRT 5.4. Popup message says "Real Time Protection" removed java.exe from LRT subfolder. LRT 5.4 needs this file. This maleware app has become a real pain in the ass. It quarantines quite a few legitimate executable files in other programs. I have to disable it frequently to run executables - for example utorrent.

Simple advice: get rid of that Malwarebyte sh... As you already said, it causes too many false positives although with other softwwsre.
I recommend something like Norton, which has many options to make it fitting to your needs. Or if you do not want to spend money, use Windows Defender. It is as good as the other top AV Software.

Windows Defender is all you need under Windows 10. That's what all Windows Pros say and use.
Just redownload and reinstall LRTimelapse to fix the installation.

Good advice. Thank you both. BTW, I got the java.exe restored from quarantine and LRT runs just fine now. As GW would say "BYE BYE" - Malewarebytes.
