charging battery from a powerbank ? - djoubert - 2021-02-17

HI,
I have been using the Pro timer 2.5 for long...
Meaning to have to charge the battery many times.
Normally charging with simple Usb Charger charges without any issue.
My point is that trying to charge from a powerbank seems not to charge...
Any check I could do ?
Thank you
Dominique

Normally it should make no difference, charging also is possible from a power bank. But of course, there are so many models out there... Aber maybe yours does not provide enough power or something else is wrong... It can also be that the voltage is a bit too low and the timer doesn't detect that it's charging, but indeed it is. Please let it hooked for a couple of hours on the Powerbank and see, if it maybe charges without showing.

If that doesn't do, then maybe try another Powerbank.

Thank you Gunther, I will proceed to the tests you suggest!

I tried another powerbank and it's charging normally,
with the first one, it seems linked to the level of charge of my powerbank and/or the level of discharge of the timer.
So no issue, I will just take care when pluging to charge that it is charging.
Thank you
