One simple question... Excuse me if it is a stupid one.
Do you have to have adobe Lightroom for this software to work???
I use capture one for most of my still needs.

You need Lightroom Classic in order to use the editing feauters. Otherwise you will only be able to simply assemble JPG or tif sequences, but no editing, no deflicker, no holy grail etc.
