Premiere Pro tries to stabilize clouds instead of landscape - mEdensky - 2022-01-17

Hi all!

I have some tiny shake in a sunrise timelapse of Easter Island statue silhouettes. 2/3 is sky with clouds and 1/3 is landscape. When using Warp Stabilizer (Result: No Motion & Method: Position), Premiere Pro tries to stabilize the clouds instead of the statue silhouettes, which makes the "stabilized" footage jump hard to the left and right.

How can I tell Premiere Pro to use the statue silhouettes as fixed reference points when stabilizing, as opposed to using the clouds?

Thank you!

You could use the tracker instead of Warp Stabilizer. There are lots of youtube tutorials about how to do it.

Hi Gunther, thank you for that! I searched all over the web but couldn't seem to find it. And thank you so much for your amazingly powerful, epic program! I LOVE LRTimelapse!!! Thanks to you, I've been able to make amazing day-night transition timelapses all over Easter Island.
