B12: Some File Sequences Do Not Sort Properly (Did not have issue in LRT 5.7) - mikelindle - 2022-01-27

I have recently reloaded some file names that are numbered sequentially that worked in LRT 5.7.2 but are not in the right order (didn't work for B12 or 5.8). They are being sorted Alphabetically rather than alpha numerically.

Simply putting it on the radar to adjust. - Furthermore, I cannot find the download link for 5.7.2, it is not online. I would like to downgrade my current software back to 5.7.2 until the alphabetical/alphanumeric sorting is updated

Quick Fix: While I have never encountered this issue in the past, I found the solution to toggle the "Sort by Capture Time" rather than "Sort by File Name". Even though both file names and capture times are properly sequential.

Is there a way to have LRT auto-detect and auto sort in the intended order?

5.7.2 is out of support, if you want to use LRT5, please use 5.8.
However nothing changed in the sorting between 5 and 6.
If the sequence has complete and proper Exif Data, LRTimelapse sorts by Date/Time by default. Only if the Date/Time column is not complete, it will switch to filename sort.
