qDslrDashboard and OM 1 - Marty Tannahill - 2024-07-19

Will qDslrDashboard work with OM 1? If not are there other alternatives? Thanks.

No and not that I'm aware of. You can manually change the exposure on the camera while shooting or use the A-Mode with Auto-ISO. But both are not ideal.
If you do lots of timelapse, it might be worth getting a cheap camera that's only dedicated to timelapse. Even an older APS-C Nikon like the D5500 might have a sensor with a better dynamic range than the Olympus which I assume is MFT. Also it will perfectly work with qDDB. Additionally you'll have your main camera free for shooting photos while recording the timelapse.

The OM1 regulates the exposure very well in modus A. You only pay attention, the exposure time gets not too long for the interval. In my experience in long summer nights with the 8mm fisheye by 1,8 and 20s exposure time the OM1 needs not more than ISO 3200. In dark nights in winter it can be, this settings are not enough.
