about Filename - eachfound - 2012-11-12 Hi Wegner, I'm a user from china, and I have many time lapse sequences, thanks for your software to save the precious time. Now I have a question to ask. sometimes a sequence I shot contains too many picture that the filename restarted from IMG_0001, so I chose to rename the file name to reorder the sequences. Usually I do that in windows 7 's explorer and it will give the result like name (1), name(2), name(3) and so on. The numbers increases by 1. Now in the file list in LRtimelapse ,when I checked [sort by filename], I got the result as what you can see in the attachment. name(1) is followed by name(10), which is further followed by name(100). This is no longer the original sequence. RE: about Filename - eachfound - 2012-11-12 sorry I find it out so I can unchecked the [sort by filename] RE: about Filename - Gunther - 2012-11-12 Yes, normally there is no need to check "sort by filename" - than all pictures are being sorted by their exif-dates. If however you rename your pictures, I'd recommend to use 001, 002 or 0001, 0002 - that can be lexicographically sorted by all type of programs, the way Windows Explorer does that is a bit weird. |
