Viewing for Tiff files - spatience - 2013-09-15 Hi Gunther, I'm not sure if anyone else has suggested this but I do think it would be worthwhile to have LRT import Tiff files for viewing. At the moment, my workflow for shooting HDR time lapse is cumbersome and takes a lot of time. I use SNS HDR-PRO to merge my bracketed shots to Tiff. In LR, I then have to export / convert them to DNG to make them compatible for LRT. It would be hugely time saving to cut out this unnecessary step of converting Tiff --> DNG in the workflow. LR allows Tiff files. Hope that makes sense and that you can incorporate this in your next update. Regards Stephen RE: Viewing for Tiff files - Gunther - 2013-09-15 Hi Stephen, if it was possible I would have done it already. Unfortunately I could not manage to get an acceptable tiff workflow in terms of performance yet. There are no previews embedded in the tiff files, so I would have to load every single huge tiff file to create the preview, this is slow as hell. Sorry, no better news, Gunther |
