So once you have edited your sequence, is there a way to reload previews of your edit back into LRT3 and playback your final grade?

Hi Rory,
no, you cannot play the final edited sequence in LRTimelapse, only the unedited preview. You have to export it than you can play back the video.

Ah ok. This would be a great feature to have if it was able to read the xmp data and create preview files for the changes. Would it not somehow be possible for it to grab the preview files from lightrooms previews or something like that?

Unfortunately it's not possible. But trust me, it's not necessary. You see the keyframes in Lightroom, if they are okay, normally the transitions are fine as well. The workflow is much faster this way.
Even if it was possible to get the developed images into LRTimelapse, this would take a long time - unnecessarily.
