Dolly with Star Time Lapse - sherbert440 - 2014-04-30

Will I get blurred pictures of the stars if I set a time lapse using a dolly since it is constantly moving? I read that the shot should be anywhere from 15-30 seconds depending on the lens.

Normally dollys/sliders for time lapse are controlled via shoot-move-shoot. So the movement will happen inbetween shots. This saves a lot of battery as well and allows for more accurate moves.

This is the motor and it's the Philip Bloom Dolly. Will it not work good because it's not shoot, move shoot. It's continuous. Am I better off trying a star trail time lapse?
