Ok, I've got a few timelapses I've been working on which involve driving, some of which is in a city and some is out on highways. It's difficult to get speeds right as either the city portion is too slow or the highway portion is way too fast.

What's the best way to go about resolving this? I've got access to Final Cut Pro 10 (with Twixtor), although i'm not that experienced with it.

Normally every regular video editor should allow for keyframe based speed changes. Don't think you need twixtor for that.
