Hello,
The problem is when you want to play the preview, if you move manually the cursor somewhere in the time bar, if you press play, it restarts always from the beginning of the preview and never from where you have put the cursor.
It's really super annoying ;-)

This is an intended behavior. If you want to play back only a part, you can select that part (Shift-drag the images slider below the preview) then press play. I will see, if I can add a "Shift-Play" to enable playing from the current position. Will move this to the feature request board.

I really second this request
It would be nice to be able to set a default behavior in prefs. I'd rather shift-click to play from the beginning and normal click to play from marker, as it will be used 99.99% in my case.

This has been implemented in LRT 4.0.3 that is now available for download. Shift or Ctrl. Click will start playing from the current location.
