Just deflicker a sequence already processed in LR - scientifantastic - 2015-05-07

How do I go about using LRT to just deflicker a sequence that I have already processed in LR? For this shot I do not need to use any features of LRT, except deflicker. Is there a way to bring in the processed sequence from LR and just deflicker it in LRT?

Thanks!

Yes, sure. Just open the sequence in LRT, save it once.

1) if it's a RAW sequence, activate visual previews, wait for the previews to be generated, then apply visual deflicker.
2) If it's jpg, just apply the regular deflicker

save, reead metadata in LR, render.

Great thanks Gunther!
With LRT4 do you still need to "initialize" the sequence before working on it in LRT? I see the Initialize feature is now under "Tools".

Thanks!

No, that's why it's under "tools" :-) Initialization is only needed, if you want so set back your sequence to start over. Otherwise LRT4 will nicely initialize in background - and only the values not already set, so you can take over old edits.
