After the last step in LRT you have to Read Metadata in Lightroom. After done that, there is 3 dots on each image. Those dots are only (slowly) dissapearing if you scroll down. So until now I have scrolled down and waited and waited this to finish. But is this necessary? Can I export the images without doing this?

No, this is just lightroom telling that it didn't update the previews yet. Just ignore it. Important is only that the metadata has been loaded. Just use LRTExport directly after Metadata has finished loading.
