Importing from camera - Dulcie1228 - 2016-07-31 The importer in LRT isn't seeing my camera chip ... Nikon D5500. Any advice? Thanks. RE: Importing from camera - Gunther - 2016-07-31 The importer will only detect an SD Card, if its mounted as volume. Some cameras get connected as Multimedia device, it cannot see then then. Just use a dedicated SD Card reader: it's usually faster, more reliable and better for the IO Port of your camera too. RE: Importing from camera - tom56342 - 2017-10-02 I'm trying to import from 5d3 to LRT same way I do in LR. LRT doesn't see my camera, I have a CF card. Do I have to use a SD card to import into LRT? RE: Importing from camera - Gunther - 2017-10-02 Any device must be mounted as USB-drive, not as Media device. This might be reason, if LRTimelapse doesn't see the device. In any case I recommend using a Card-Reader to bring images to the computer. It's much faster and saves the USB port of the camera from wearing out. Additionally it doesn't drain the camera battery. |
