Wifi SD cards - Fergatron - 2016-11-14

Hello everyone,

I was going to buy some EyeFi cards for a timelapse project but I read some quite bad reviews about the newest batch on Amazon. Just wondering if someone can offer some advice on alternatives or tell me how they go about doing remote location timelapses and triggering an upload of the footage to the cloud without having to do site trips.

Many thanks,
Anna (in Australia)

Hi Anna, unfortunately I cannot really recoment using those cards. I've tried several brands and none of them turned out to be reliable enough for serious work. Sorry. I'd recommend going for the TPLink router solution, see: http://lrtimelapse.com/gear/dslrdashboard/
That really works, gives you a decent range and is fast and reliable.
