Recently gopro 5 can make raw timelapses. Can use lrtimelapse to make timelapse?

Hi Gunther, I normally tranfer all my RAW photos to a file on my pc and then import them from there file into LRTimelapse, am I right in assuming that pitigarcia wants to import directly from the GOpro camera into LRT, and this is what you are going to implement in the next update? and that if I follow my method I dont need that facility? I thought that RAW was an standard format.
