LRT Timer a winner - wetcoaster - 2017-08-30 I had a friend build two of the timers. He used different components in some cases and I will post his design one of these days. I used one of them with a Sony RX10M3 to capture the total solar eclipse in Salem OR. The link to my results, so far, can be seen here. http://bydawnlight.zenfolio.com/p581299929 My last image will be a mosaic and should be there tomorrow. The timer worked flawlessly and I wish I had used the second one with my Canon 7D ii setup. The internal intervalometer in the 7D ii failed to execute properly at least 3 times, despite multiple testing of it. It crossed my mind to use the LRT timer but I decided not to. I wished I had.... The timer initiated ~2300 shutter clicks in 2h 38m. Don RE: LRT Timer a winner - Gunther - 2017-08-30 Glad to hear that! I'm happy that it worked so well. That's what all tools should do... ;-) RE: LRT Timer a winner - MLXXXp - 2017-08-30 (2017-08-30, 03:10)wetcoaster Wrote: I will post his design one of these days. I've already posted the design.
