When I save my RAW and XMP files on a back up system I can see in the process some "LRT-preview" files copied too, but they are invisible in the folder...
Does LRT4 create some LRT-preview files and are they hidden on a  MAC osX ?

Yes, all previews, snapshots etc. are inside a hidden .lrt folder inside each sequence folder.
