Yes it does seem to matter, LR will not read every single metadata change correctly if one uses version 4... it sometimes works sometimes not.

Really, didn't experience that yet, but will do more tests. Please try to reproduce that, maybe you can find a pattern.

I have noticed there is a 'Process' check box in the sync options for LR. Seems to be checked by default.

I have LRTimelapse 4.7.8 and Lightroom Classic.
I installed the new "DNG Converter 10_0" and the visual preview in LRTimelapse is not generated. The visual preview counter jumps +/- 1 frames.
I checked path to DNG Converter, and is the same
"C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Adobe \ Adobe DNG Converter.exe" in 9.10 and 10.0 version.
Also I checked version 9.10 and it works fine with LRTimelapse.

I checked log file and get error.

Please check the path in settings/external programs, where the location of the Adobe Dng converter is defined. I experienced no problems on my tests with 10.0 in Windows, couldn't check on Mac yet, since I'm still in South America. Please let us know.

Everything looks good. I have Windows 10 to.

Strange. Can you convert those files to Dng when you use the DNG converter stand alone?

It's DNG Converter error, when I try to convert RAW files to jpg I get an error "Not enough memory". So I will bee finding a solution in Adobe sites.

What do you mean by "Normally it shouldn't. But of course it won't be animated."?
