Timelapse animation from single image

I would like to use a single image and make an animated timelapse by altering the curves. One way to do this would be to make 1000 copies of the same image and then insert keyframes to bring the curves up and down, please tell me there is a better way? I am talking about drastic changes in the curves, so the image changes colors and such. Also, I dont want linear interpolation, how can I set the interpolation to follow an exponential/polynomial rise/decay between keyframes?

LRTimelapse is a software for timelapse editing, not for stills. If you want to use LRTimelapse for this, you'd really have to clone the image. I'd rather recommend to use a video editor to to what you want to do. Usually you can import a still in any video editor and do your post processing there. The only disadvantage is that you cannot work on RAW files/Metadata-basis then.
