Same result with just High quality setting (ProRes codec).

I've tried to relaunch LRT 3.1 but the problem persists.

And now I've restart the computer and tried to render the video (with the intermediate jpegs files created), with MP4 codec, 1920 px, High quality, but the problem is exactly the same!!!! :-(

Try this - App>LRTimelapse3 (change to 3.1) - then change the file name in your export path to match.

This is what I did and mine does work. Also I was looking through the Info.plist and there is no reference to 3.1 - I do not know anything about software or programming so I am not sure if this supposed to be like this or not.

Try the above suggestion if everything shows lrt3 and not 3.1

I've done that but LRT continues to end rendering video after 10 or 20 frames so the final video just have 1 second.

I'm trying now to export another sequence from LR5 (after the name's change from LRT 3 to LRT 3.1) to see if after that LRT can rendering the video.
So far I don't think that the problem is in the LRT version's name, but anyway I'm trying all possible routes until Gunther Wegner tells me how to solve this.

Hi Rui,
I understand that you are frustrated, but we don't get any new insights just from posting the same logs over and over. Please do me a favor and at least wrap those logs in "code" tags (click on the hashtag above in the forum's editor to open the tag and after the log click again to close it) - I changed that for the last posts.

Okay, but now back to the problem. I already told you that there was a problem in 3.0 that the JPGs have been exported in different sizes when using a crop animation. So in any log you get those messages, reagarding the sizes. Obviously the ffmpeg encoder cannot deal with that different image sizes very well.
So in the 3.1 version I changed the Lightroom plugin, so that it always exports at a defined size, regardless of the crop - this means the images will be scaled by lightroom and not by the encoder anymore.

This leads us to a couple of suggestions:
1) Don't animate the crop - instead export as 3K and do the animation in Video Postprocessing - this is recommended anyway because the animation will get smoother because video processors animate on sub pixel basis and Lightroom crops to full pixels.

2) Something on your computer is messed up, because we still get that different image sizes (check that in the finder as well, see how big the JPGs in the intermediate folder are) - if the sizes differ, something is wrong - or not on 3.1.
Solution: use the uninstaller that comes in the DMG installer file (at the very bottom of the install window) to uninstall everything. Then reinstall the Addons and LRTimelapse. Don't rename anything.

As you can imagine, I don't understand it's meaning so I really don't know if they are the same or not. I just did some experiments and every time it fails I've posted the correspondent log file. I have version 3.1 so I've though that the problem was solved in this version and it will be possible to use animated crops. Besides, that's what you have advertised in your website when you sad "Make Ken-Burns effects (pan/zoom) on RAW-file basis"...

Regarding the suggestions for solving the problem:

1 - That's quite a pity that we have to waive the ability to do Ken Burns effect based on RAW files. But, of corse, that is not a big problem. Anyway, in one sequence, yes, I was trying to animate a crop with LRT3.1, as I always did with LRT2. But in another sequence the crop is just a 16:9 one, always at the bottom of the image, during all the sequence. So no animation but still LRT 3.1 cannot render the video, and I still can't understand why. As I understood it, I just can't animate a crop but I can do it if it's always in the same place, right? Or I must keep the image at it's original proportion and do also the 16:9 crop in a video editing software?

2 - I just checked with finder randomly the sizes of three images of the sequence where the crop is not moving. You are right, in those random three images the sizes are 6144x3456, 6144x3435 and 6144x3429.
OK, I will uninstall LRT3.1 and reinstall it again to see if it works as it should.

Hi Gunther,

I've unistalled LRT3.1 and its addons from LR5, and then reinstalled them again.
After that I've exported again one of the sequences that I haven't been able to render before, made new crop (only 16:9, no animation), exported the intermediate TIFF files and rendered the video from LRT3.1 at 1920, ProRes, UHQ. And it worked without any problem. Oh, and BTW, I've checked the size of the intermediate files and all are exactly the same size.

After that I've tried another sequence that also had problems before, did the same thing but this time I've tried with an animated crop (i did that because one of the first sequences that I've done with LRT3.1 has an animated crop and all went well...). But this time the problem came back and I could not export the sequence (it ended up after the first TIFF image).

Tried again but this time with the crop always with the same size but moving across the frame. Same result: exportation ends after first TIFF image.

New try this time with the crop static at the same place. Same result, could not export the sequence. And here I thought that shouldn't happen because with the other sequence (the one I did after reinstallation) the crop was there and all worked well.

So I quit LR5 and opened it again. And this time the sequence finally starts to export (process still running right now).

I don't know if that makes any sense but it looks like the LRTExport add-on inside LR5 has stopped to work properly and only after the relaunch of LR5 it started working again.

Right now is all I can add.

Update:

After around 60 exported TIFF files I checked their size and they were different (my mistake - different crop at the end keyframe), so I decided to stop the exportation, deleted the exportation folder and after corrected the crop I tried to export again with no success ! It stop again after the first photo!

Relaunched LR5, export again and this time it started to export. I've navigated in finder and saw that no folder was created so the files that were been exported were vanishing in the air. Stopped again the exportation, tried it again and the problem returned (export ended up after the first TIFF). (BTW, the warning that the exportation folder already exists does not appeared, which proves that in fact it was not created).

Relaunched LR5, export again and this time the folder was created but exportation stopped again after first Tiff. tried again, same result!

Relaunched LR5, and after another try the exportation finally started and the folder was created. Process running...

It really looks like there is some problem between LR5 and the LRTExport add-on.
