I have version 4.3, but i can't see the 3 gradient filters when i click on it. Is that normal?

can you use any you want now? you still use the automatic ones in the tutorial.

You need to use the predefined gradients.
Did you enabled the option in the Lightroom toolbar to show the handles for the gradients?
If so and you still doesn't see the predefined gradients, please check this thread:
