During import from my memory card, is it advisable to convert from NEF to DNG?
I have a Nikon D90 which captures in NEF. Is there a benefit to converting to DNG?

DNGs are a bit smaller. But it takes more time to import, since they have to be converted. Usually I therefore import the original NEF files.
