Beta 13:
  • Improvement: Japanese translation reworked by Mr. Koichiro Oka, many thanks!
  • Improvement: Localised some not yet translated strings in the Render Dialog.
  • Fix: Some stability fixes.
  • Fix: Load Snapshot would move the playhead through the sequence

Beta 12:
  • Improvement: Version check will now run every 2 hours and not only on when launching LRT.
  • Fix: Loading the preview in the render dialog in some cases would be triggered more than once.
  • Fix: Some stability fixes.

Beta 11:
  • Improvement: Internal export and render will now export basic metadata to the intermediary sequence and this will allow timestamp overlays and subtitles to be created.
  • Fix: In some cases the intervals wouldn't be correctly displayed
  • Fix: After switching from filename sort to date/time sort or vice versa, the intervals wouldn't be recalculated.
  • Fix: In "draw dots" preview mode (few images, large spread between points of a curve) the last dot was not being painted.
  • Fix: In rare cases trying to load a sequence after some batch processes produced an error and an empty table.
  • Fix: Very short sequences with less than 10 images sometimes didn't load completely.
  • Fix: Updated the link for the adobe forum post where I request JPG support for the Adobe DNG Converter. However my hopes are little since this request is now 9 years old... :-(
  • Fix: Batch processes sometimes could be ended when switching folders.
Download should happen automatically via the auto-updated, if you have an earlier beta of LRT 6.4 installed.

Does this mean, that there is a service constantly running in the background, even when LRT is not running?
If so, why?

No, of course not. Before, the check for a new version was only executed once, when launching LRTimelapse. However, many users don't close the program at all and just leave it running. In that case, they would not be notified, if a new version is available.
Now the check will run every two hours, but of course only while LRTimelapse is running. If you close LRT, it's closed and does nothing. The next check will then happen, when you launch it again.

Thank you for the work and the positive changes.

I still use 6.3

If necessary, it would be nice to include an option

Version check
[ ] everything two hours
[ ] once a day
[ ] at start-up
[ ] never

and the default setting is then ... everything two hours or so ^^
If you have deactivated the version check or are still on an outdated version, you may get a warning message in a corner Smile

Greetings
Dennis
