Match total exp with Manual lens

Offline

Hi

I have been using Magic lantern with day to night aka Holy grail timelapse they have been great on the Canon 17-40 (after lots of trial and error) but when i try to use my Samyung 14mm it fails to match total exposures in lightroom..i had no idea why it did this until i read your E book.

From what i gather because the Canon/lightroom doesn't have a profile for this lens the Match total exps will not work ?

is there anyway around this ? i have some shots i really want to sort out...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Do the matching manually. It's exlained in the EBook as well. There might be another solution that involves setting the Lens data afterwards, please search the forum for "match total exposures". Manually adjusting though will give you better results since MTE is not always perfect and still requires some tweaking.
