nikon d750 settings for timelapse

Offline
#1 patrickj
im relatively new to timelapse and had some questions on the basic settings in the menu.

if anyone can comment on what should be changed and why that would be appreciated, here is what i think is correct. wasn't sure on image size though- see comment

for my nikon d750

image quality NEF RAW + JPEG fine
image size Large 6016x4016 vs Medium 4512x3008 ??
-- if I want to convert my timelapse to 4k video, would medium be sufficient ? is the Large for 6k video?
color space sRGB
long exposure NR off
high iso NR off
ISO sensitivity off

thank you!

Hi
The size of the jpeg does not impact the timelapse as you have a raw file to use for your timelapse. For normal timelapse I only set the quality to raw. If I am working with qDslrDashboard for a holy grail session I use raw + jpg basic but for the tl itself I only use the raw also for holy grails.
I take all tl in M mode and set the ISO to a fix value as low as possible.
Colorspace, long exposure nr is off, I have ISO+ nr at normal
Best regards
Monika
