I just converted my raw files into LR to .dmg
followed all the instructions on your website.
and LR timelapse does not see any files in the folder.
should I use the raw files straight out of the camera.
I assumed that the DMG's that lightroom creates are the most generic.

Currently DNG are not supported, sorry. Please use the native RAW-files.

As of Version 1.6 most of the previously unsupported RAW-types and DNG are supported via Exiftool. Check this announcement to learn more:
