Hello and Happy new Year!

Since the upgrade to LRT 6 I don't get the keyframes sent to Lightroom. I have reinstalled LRT and done all the steps in the FAQ "Keyframes, Metadata, Editing from LRTimelapse not visible in Lightroom or vise versa" but still no keyframes. If I edit the photos I know are the keyframes and save the metadata in lightroom, I can still edit the sequence in LRT but then the visual previews go into a never ending editing loop and I cant get into the defliker. If I stop the program there, I can read the metadata in lightroom and export, but I run into playback issues in After Effects. If I try to edit in LRT, the edit panel greys out after one move of any slider.
In lightroom, the filter "LRT Full Sequence" shows all the pictures, but the filter "LRT Keyframes" shows nothing.

Im using the latest version of LRT 6, latest version of Lightroom and windows 10.

Is it possible that the timestamps of your images are not correct (in the future). Please check. Usually LRTimelapse gives you a message about this and offers to fix them.
If the problems persist, please send the log file after doing a workflow from scratch. You'll find it in the info menu / show log.

I can't see any errors when creating visual previews in this log. Maybe you didn't activate them?

Your initial report deals about two different things:

Dear Gunther,
The "Visual Previews" has been on the whole time.
My initial post is only about the keyframes not appearing in Lightroom when selecting the keyframes filter.
After saving the keyframes in LRT, I go to Lightroom, grid view, select all and Metadata/Read Metadata from Files. The go to filter, select 01 LRT Keyframes and I get the message "No Photos Match the filter". If I select the "Full Sequence" filter, all the images are there. I can see the keyframes in previous imports as well.
I tried going around the problem by editing the images I know are the keyframes selected in LRT. The metadata travels after saving the metadata in Lightroom and the Visual Previews are generated but LRT goes into a loop generating the previews and I cant stop it.
I havent changed my workflow. I have been using your software for years and I have edited hundreds of sequences. This just appeared after I upgraded to LRT 6.
Hope that clarifies the problem.

Could you please restart the workflow from scratch: Remove the sequence from Lightroom, then go to LRTimelapse, do "Metadata / Initialize".
Now do the first workflow row, create a couple of keyframes.
"Drag" to Lightroom, the importer will open and at the top make sure to select "Add". Now import.
The first image should have 4 stars and the filter "Keyframes" should show the keyframes images only.

Now for the second issue with the visual previews.
Go to the Lightroom settings and make sure the "Automatically write Metadata" is OFF. See https://lrtimelapse.com/install

Continue the workflow in Lightroom, do some edits on the keyframes.
Now go to Grid View, select all keyframes and do "Metadata / Write Metadata to Files".

Switch to LRT again. Click on "Auto Transition" and make sure the Visual Previews are activated.
Wait a minute and see if the visual previews develop (the visual lum column should get values and the pink curve should be building up. If this doesn't happen, please send the log file once again.

Which problem? That Lightroom doesn't show the 4* ratings?
Or that the Visual previews cannot be developed - If that was the case, I would see error messages in your log, which I don't.

I have done all the steps you have asked several times and I just did it again, also reinstalled LRT as well. Everything is up to date. Same problem, but seems I cannot communicate effectively so I made a couple of videos.

Thanks for the videos, they are really helpful.
The first thing I noticed is that when you start importing into Lightroom, in parallel the LRTimelapse visual previews start to regenerate. This means, that something seem to be altering the XMP files (which Lightroom doesn't do usually, unless you "save".
That's why I already mentioned the setting to automatically write XMP in Lightroom. If this is on, you could get strange behavior like this.

Also, later in the workflow, when the visual previews get generated - they generate fine, but get discarded instantly.
This only happens, if the XMP files are being altered. LRTimelapse checks the timestamp of the files and if it changes, it will discard and regenerated.

Bottomline: something on your system is altering the XMP files. This could be Lightroom (check that setting) but also some other software, like a backup tool running constantly or some kind of "security" software. Please double check.
