Try timelapse+ view

Can you please elaborate on why it is useless for this purpose?
From the
Pulse product page:
Quote:Pulse's Exposure Ramping features allows you to ramp your ISO and shutter speed so that you can capture day-to-night transitions (the "Holy Grail" of time lapses)
I got into timelapse less than a year ago, and find it very fun (and challenging) to pursue the Holy Grail.. However, as mentioned previously in this thread, "babysitting" the camera gets tedious (especially here in Norway with our fall & winter temperatures), and I've also messed up many lapses because of camera movement. Very annoying.
qDslrDashboard is cool with its "Auto Holy Grail" feautre, but I'd really like to get its functionality encapsulated in a single device, so that I won't have to rely on wifi connection, my smartphone and all the challenges that come with it.
Timelapse+ VIEW looks like the answer, but for the price ($400) I'd rather spend my money on glass ;
So, I thought the Pulse was what I'm looking for, until I saw this thread
Keen on hearing alternative suggestions too!
Thanks
