I'm excited reading about the upcoming version 3 of the Pro Timer. For me, 2 of the new feattures are most interesting:

- bigger display
- improved charging regulator

Now I have 2 questions:
1. Regarding the display: while the display is significantly bigger (3x), how much bigger are the characters or is the main pupose to display more details?
2. I assume that the ProTimer 3 will have a diffferent firmware then the version 2.5. If so how long will you support the version 2.5

These are the improvements in the LRTimelapse Pro Timer 3 compared to the 2.5:

• Bigger Display: Twice the resolution, nearly 3 times the size. (LRTPT 2.5: 24 x 7 mm (168 mm²), LRTPT 3: 30 x 16mm = 480 mm²)
  
• Improved layout of the user interface due to the higher resolution of the display
  
• High precision optical glass cover to protect the display
  
• Aluminum Knob for more precise rotation
  
• Improved charging regulator. For example it reduces battery draining when device is turned off.
  
• Tactile indicators for camera port numbers on the housing

Also I explained there that firmware updates for 2.5 and 3 will appear in parallel. I'm not planning to abandon the 2.5 anytime soon.
