The Venus and Jupiter Show

Offline
#1 Phil Hart
Composed this awhile ago at the end of a nine week trip to the Yukon to capture Northern Lights earlier this year. Have lots more footage to work on but this is my first result, primarily about the evolving conjunction between Venus and Jupiter in the evening in February/March 2012:

or the video itself on Vimeo:

This uses an automated bulb ramping controller developed with Fred Vanderhaven but uses LR Timelapse extensively to correct for unintended jumps and manage other transitions (white balance, exposure etc).

Thanks Gunther.. great that you like it! with long day-night sequences it's not a fast paced video to watch but i think those who know how hard it is can appreciate it most :-).

Am playing with LR Timelapse 2 now for the next set of footage..
