Hi,
I've got the Timelapse+ some time ago ..
PRO:
- I like the hardware and user-interface
- the focus-ramping works well on my Canon cameras
- it can trigger external gear like the eMotimo (+ focus-ramping)
- I use it mainly as an intervalometer for the Olympus OM-D (precise intervals)
CONS:
- ND-filter needed for bulb-ramping, shortest interval 8s, shortest shutter-speed 1/20s
- holy-grail starting 2h before sunset until midnight doesn't work good (nedd to remove ND) .. QDslrDashboard leading to much better results for this
- at a certain level of darkness the exposure-time and ISO remain to low, so the images are to dark
other:
- HDR-foto and -timelapse not tested
- I have not tested bulb-ramping again with newest firmware, maybe it works better now?
- I suppose controlling the MNX works, because of the recent collaboration with DP (?)
hope this helps ..
Luc.
