Hi there

I've tried to install version 6.

It keeps telling me that files are open. I've closed the pc and started from scratch and still the same error. its deleted version 5 so I'm sort of stuffed.

I'd send you a screen shot of this allowed such things

Which error do you get exactly?

Ignore the error and continue
Cancel installation.

If i ignore it proceeds a little further and I get the following error.

C:\program Files\LRTimelapse 6\exiftool.exe

An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
DeleteFile failed; code 32
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
Try Again
Skip this File (Not Recommended)
Cancel Installation

That means that there is an instance of exiftool running.
So just kill it manually via task manager or restart the computer and do the install after rebooting.

I'd already done that once. I thought. I let my laptop run completely out of power and restarted and version 6 is now running. thanks. Peter
