Uncontrolled Flicker in Night Sky Time Lapses

Offline
#1 kfloerke
I've been really struggling with flicker in my night sky time lapses. Last night I captured some aurora but the scenes are unusable because of the flicker. I have tried multiple ways to fix it in the app, but nothing is helping. I can't see the flicker in the preview window at all, but in all exported/rendered sequences (LR and internal) they are horribly noticeable. Is there something I am missing? Can someone help me identify the root cause of the flickering to solve it?

Thank you these were the issues! I was aware of the problems with Dehaze/Clarity but not the rest of the basic panel. To be clear, these problems exist within the masks as well, correct? So only tone curve should be used there, not the basic sliders?

Thanks!

Yes, unfortunately they do.
But of course you can use other sliders, but you need to watch to which extend you cam do so in order to avoid them causing such issues.
