I was doing some experimenting with rendering the video by other methods than LRTimelapse. I believe I chose matching rendering settings. When I render the same intermediate jpg files created by LRT in Photoshop the resulting Photoshop video file is very much smaller than the one rendered by LRTimelapse. When played back I can't see any difference. Any ideas why this is?

Because Photoshop obviously used higher compression levels then. The quality levels cannot be directly compared across programs.
You can choose a lower quality setting on LRTimelapse ti get smaller files.
