this is an issue I already saw in LRT 5.x, but I did not digg into it. I still have it with LRT 6.0.2 and 6.0.3 on Apple hardware with ARM and Intel processor.
Precondition:
- There is a new sequence in a folder, which was loaded in LRT never before. The raw file format does not matter (I have cr2, cr3 and dng)
- I copy the files manually to the disk drive, I do not use the LRT importer.
- The files have to naming from the camera, no date & time prefix applied yet.
Actions:
1. Load the folder in LRT -> everything ok
2. Rename the files with date & time prefix -> files in LRT are renamed as well as on disk. -> ok
3. Create keyframes & apply holy grail wizard if possible -> LRT shows the keyframes, curves and unsaved metadata.
4. Save the metadata
Result:
LRT looks like it saves the metadata (progress bar) and the red background indicating unsaved metadata disappears. The file browser on the left in LRT shows the icons for keyframes and holy grail wizard. But on the disk are no xmp files.
When I browse in LRT to another folder and then back to the sequence, the icons in the browser disappear and there are no keyframes or holy grail adjustments in the sequence on the right. When I create the keyframes* and apply the wizard now and save the metadata, the xmp files get created and everything is fine.
*Maybe there is another issue here: The sequence has no keyframes in this state. When I press the "Create Keyframes" button, usually at least one keyframe gets created automatically. But here I have to create it manually, as none is created automatically. This happens only with non-holy-grail-sequences.
