Okay, one more idea - could it be that there is a modal dialog (locking the App behind) appearing on another screen or offscreen? Maybe one of the wizards that sometimes pop up when loading a folder?
Sometimes when I use my laptop without second monitor some apps or dialogs tend to apperar on the 2nd (non existant) screen. Maybe worth a consideration.

Otherwise I admit that I'm somewhat screwed with your problem - never head or heard of a similar case.

Sorry, I don't know. Since it has been running before it looks like it is something on your side. I'd really like to help but I can't reproduce that and I'm honestly running out of ideas.

Please try downloading again (I made a small change to the package), if that doesn't help I'm going to have a look at this this evening.
