Spike in exposure - puncho - 2021-01-16

Hi, trying to process a timelapse. There seems to be a spike in exposure in the sun around the ~3sec and 4sec mark of the video https://youtu.be/BIozzF8qURs (in the imgur album here: https://imgur.com/a/HThHRJ3, 98 in the sequence as well as later on around 127). What would be the reason for that and how should I fix it so it is not so glaring?

Also, at the very end/last image I made the top 1/3 of the sky more blue with a gradient. There doesn't seem to be a gradual transition (I included the last 3 pictures in the imgur link). What would be the reason and fix for that? Thank you!
