I would like to know if there is some option in LrTimelapse to generate the visual previews only for a selected area. The reason is, that I often have contrast flicker added by Lightroom in the sequences, especially with cityscapes. So for me it's often hit and miss how much I can change a slider, especially Whites and Blacks, before the Flicker starts to be visible. Sometimes, I have to repeat this 10 times ore more.

Currently, I am copying parts of the sequence into a new folder and do it only there and then copying the files back. But I was wondering, if there is another option.

You cannot do visual previews only for a part of a sequence, but you can deflicker or refine deflicker for a part, just select the part in the table and apply the deflicker/refine. This will also regenerate the visual previews, but only for that selection. Maybe that helps.
