I am rendering several videos and more than once, LRT 3 makes a very small video, with just 1 second (with only 15 Mb) out of a sequence of more then 350 tiff files.

Not sure yet if the problem only happens when using tiff intermediate files, but since I'm trying the higher quality settings I have found this.

I'm rendering video for full HD (1920x1080), from TIFF files and the problem shows up at least in the UHQ and VHQ settings.

It's quite frustrating because with LR4 and LRT2 the maximum that I could achieve was 3K (with PRO templates). Now with LR5 and LRT3PRO even at FullHD I am having problems with the higher quality settings.

Anyone have experienced those same problems? Any conclusions?

Are you on mac as well?
I will have to make some tests on my own to try to reproduce that. Please check the logfile if the rendering fails and see if you can find any error messages. Are you on mac as well?

Yes, I'm using a MACBOOK Air with Lion OS.

During the night I leaved the computer working in rendering more videos from two different sequences and the result is always the same. No error message, just an output video that is too small, just a second or so.

I've tried from two different sequences, so I'm sure the problem is not in the sequences. Also I've tried rendering using MP4 and ProRes codes and the result is the same! There is no difference also if I choose HG, VHQ, UHQ.

Previously I've rendered videos with success but the intermediate files were jpegs, not TIFF as I am trying now.

Right now I'll export again the same sequence as jpegs to see if it works. I'll keep this post updated.

Hi Rui,
I noticed, that you might have applied a crop transition and you might be still using the 3.0 Addons.
Please try installing LRT3.1 AND the new Addons and try exporting again.

(The "frame changed size" messages indicate that the intermeditate files all have different sizes due to the crop animation, the encoder does not like that so I changed it in 3.1) - make sure to reexport the intermediate sequence from lightroom.

No, I'm using LRT3.1 and I'm pretty sure that I'm using 3.1 addons as well (the first time I've launched LR3 it prompted to me if I want to make the update, which I did).

Besides, in the logfile you can read:

When I've made the update to LRT3.1, I'm sure that I also installed the 3.1, but, just to be really sure, how can I see in LR5 the version of the addons that are installed?

In the meantime, I've tried to export again the intermediate files, but this time as jpegs, and although the task bar showed the exportation as expected, in the end there is no LRT export folder at all and (of course) no intermediate files at all!!!

I'm trying to export again from LR5 with all exactly the same and now it is exporting well since I can already see the LRT export folder and the jpegs been created...

I'm getting tired of all this...

Check the Lightroom Plugin Manager on the LRTExport Plugin, does it say Version 3.1 ?
If not - on mac you have to install the LRTAddons Package that comes in the LRT3.1 DMG file.

Yes, as you can see in the photo attached, its version 3.1.[attachment=420]

I use a mac and I had to physically change it myself; same as it was in the beta, no tags changed.

New temp, the same result!

Now I've exported intermediate jpegs files. Tried to render the video but after a couple of minutes it stops, as if its already done. A quick check though finder confirms that there is in fact a new video, with only 1 second!

This attempt was made with ProRes and UHQ at 1920 px.
