Hey Guys,

That's my first thread. So, Hi everybody !
Here is my problem :

I've shot this sequence with 3s or 4s interval, i don't remember.
I think the interval was to big, clouds too fast or my shutter speed to high...
i don't know...
Result : Lots of flickering.

After using LRtimelapse and twixtor i remove a lot of my problems.

But i've still a speed problem.
It's not smooth at all Sad

As you can see, every 1/2s the video seems to slow down and accelerate.

If you want to look at the file in fullHD,

You can download the file here : http://www.sendspace.com/file/lyhmph

Do you think i can fix it ?
Maybe there is a way in after effect with a plug-in or a time remapping.
Changing the frame rate in AE ?

Thank you very much

Hi, this is a typical problem if frame rates don't match. I don't know exactly you workflow but you should definitely take care to always use the same frame rate. If you export from Lightroom with my templates, decide which rate you want to use, , for example 24fps. Then make your project in video processing 24fps as well and export with 24fps later.
If you use after effects, make sure your composition is 24fps. If you want to go with your 24fps footage into a 30fps project, use "interpret footage" to get your sequence to 30fps - this will make it play faster instead of streatching, what causes the effects you are seeing.

Ok Thank you.

Here is my workflow:

1) I use LRtimelapse 2 and Lightroom to deflicker, and put in 16/9.
2) i export all the files from Lightroom in a folder in 1920x1080.
3) i import all the files as "image sequence" in AE.

But i never know witch frame rate i need to use in the composition.

If you look the video in full screen, you can clearly see that the movie is playing a duplicate frame every 10 frames or so. (every 1/2s)
I really don't know why ...

I never had this probleme before.

Here is the movie without twixtor :

As you can see, the top of the sky is not smooth.
(frame rate = 29,97)

In AE you can see the framerates here:

make sure they match with your intended framerate.

The upper is the image sequence (here you should apply interpret footage if necessary) the second is the composition, it should have the same frame rate as well.

The both match ( they are in 25fps)

Is your export framerate at 25 fps as well?

Hey Gunther,
I Just find my problem !

When you import your image sequence, your framerate is defined automatically in AE.
In my case : 25fps
But you can "right click" and choose " interpret footage", and change the input framerate.

I've choose 30fps and it's perfectly smooth !!!

--------

My mistake was to change the framerate in the composition.
So the "image sequence" and the "composition" didn't have the same value.
--------

Thank you everybody for the help Wink
