Hi there!

Since I bought the LRT Pro Timer 2.5 I've been using this cable with my Canon EOS 200D:

https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B01N0Z53V5/

Now I want a longer one and I'm not sure: since the one I'm using is just a stereo audio cable with 2.5mm connectors (as far as I know), will a simple cable extension work?

Or maybe any regular stereo audio cable with 2.5mm connectors works? Any problem about the cable length? Any problem with extensions?

Thanks in advance!

Normally it should work with a 2.5mm TRS extension chord. However I can't tell how long the cable can be, at some time the resistance on the cable will just get too high. I guess you just need to try it.

Great!

I found a 1.8m chord and I'll try it soon. I want to put both the router and the intervalometer below the tripod for easier access while shooting. Regarding the router connection, I also need a 1.8m USB cable to connect my camera to the router. Will it work? No extension, just a plain USB-A to Mini USB cable, 1.8m.

Thanks again!

I don't think that would be a problem.
