cannot read metadata from Lumix GH2 files
When I'm trying to open RW2 files from my Lumix GH2 camera, always get the message that there is no metadata at all. I've converted those files to DNG an JPG but still cannot import to LRTimelapse. I've checked metadata setings on Lightroom and all seems to be ok there. The same on Windows and Mac. Is anybody using LRTimelapse and GH2?

RW2 is supported, but it might be that the previews can't be loaded. Anyway that doesn't matter, you could use the following workflow: http://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-work...-supported
Your problem seem to be another one.
Please check the following FAQ-Post:

Please let me know if this solved your problem.

Yes, I have followed this workflow, but the problem still persists. After importing all the files to LRTimelapse, it is not possible to make any transition and still the message "no metadata at all in the files" appears.

Du you have XMP files in the image directory? If you still have touble try out the 1.5 development Version of LRTimelapse, open the directory and let LRTimelapse fix the missing Metadata. You can do it manually via the context menu and Metadata->Initialize as well. Save your changes in LRTimelapse and reload the metadata in Lightroom.

No, there are no XMP files in the image directory, because Lightroom only adds the sidecar XMP file to original RAW file. As for DNG, it writes XPM file inside the DNG. Could be that LRTimelapse cannot read XMP from inside the DNG file?
I can import RAW files with sidecar XMP from my old camera without any problems.
However Lightroom does not support Lumix GH2 for the moment, so the only way is to convert to DNG.

Sorry, but you were talking about RW2 Files.
DNG ist currently not supported by LRTimelapse.
No, that's not the solution. Please use the workflow I suggested above.

Very sad. Would you plan to add DNG support to LRTimelapse?
I cannot follow that workflow because it is not possible yet to import RW2 files into Adobe Lightroom.

It's more likely that I might find a way to support RW2 but that won't help you either if lightroom doesn't support that.

Since Version 1.6 most of the previously unsupported RAW-types and DNG are supported via Exiftool. Check this announcement to learn more:
