Visual Previews not working

Offline
#1 Mike
Hi guys, maybe GW will take a peek too.
May I tell you how I spent last evening?
On my Windows PC trying to get the visual previews to work with my new Nikon Z7 ii.
What was the problem?
The previews were timing out.
Why?
Because I was actually in fact running an old DNG Converter which didn't recognize my camera.
Why didn't I snatch on to this real fast?
Because Adobe Creative Cloud kept telling me that the converter was up to date.
(Can't post a screen shot)
How did I finally recognize the problem?
By manually opening the converter with the Explorer and checking the version number.
What is my suggestion?
That LRTimeLapse shows which converter version it is using.

Normally LRTimelapse checks, whether the latest version of DNG Converter is installed and warn otherwise. It was my fault that I didn't update the version info on my server, that's why you didn't get a notice. Thanks for reminding me.
Another issue is that Adobe doesn't publish the latest version consistently on their site, see: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/p...rm=windows
I will therefore change the url in the reminder in LRT to my install page in the next version, where I provide two different links to adobe, where one mostly has the latest version.
