Does anyone know what file the DNG Converter should be in? LRTimelaspse hangs up when trying to generate previews. LRTimelape is looking for the Converter in the same file as always- the Apps file - and the Converter is there. Is there another problem stopping LRTimelapse form completing its processing? Some bug in LR 6 with Catalina? Since installing the latest version of LRTimelapse and a change to Catalina, LRTimelapse gets stuck in a loop when generating previews.. it can’t seem to find the Converter or more accurately can’t seem to open it... yet the converter works if run independently.

Most likely Catalina has asked you for disk access for the DNG Converter and you said "no", then any access will get blocked.
Try granting full access to the File System for the Adobe DNG Converter and LRTimelapse, as explained in this faq post (at the bottom):
