I'm pretty sure this is a stupid question (and I did a search!) but I did not crop my photos in Lightroom since I wanted to keep all of the scene, but in the final rendered timelapse it is cropped. I'm attaching screenshots of one of the photos in LR and the final video.

Did you by chance tick "force 16:9 crop" in the LRTimelapse render dialog?

Untick that box and rerender the sequence - no need to reexport from lightroom.
