Hi Gunther,
I have a sequence of a scene into which some people walk and block the entire frame that the camera can see. There is never a single area that I can use for deflickering that doesn't have sudden and large changes in exposure from people appearing in that area.
I can solve this by running a deflicker on the entire sequence, and then removing that deflicker value from only those frames where a person is in the shot. But I haven't yet figured out how to set the deflicker value to zero in individual (or small groups) of frames.
Is there a way to do this, or would you suggest a different approach to smoothing the exposures of a sequence like this?
Many thanks in advance for any info,
Chas
